Rexus reaches out to stakeholders in the pilot area of Agia, Greece

REXUS and its sister project, PRIMA-LENSES, are reaching out to stakeholders and partners in our pilot areas and beyond, presenting their innovative approaches in addressing Water-Energy-Food NEXUS systems, assisting the shift from Nexus Thinking to Nexus Doing.

On 13 September 2021, Andreas Panagopoulos from SWRI, presented REXUS and PRIMA-LENSES to the partners and stakeholders of “Water for tomorrow” project, an initiative of the Athenian brewery, materialised by the Cluster of Sustainability Transition (Sustainable Development Solutions Network, Athens University of Economics and Business, Research Laboratory on Socio-economic and environmental sustainability).

Collaboration amongst our projects is profound and beneficial for all parties, not only at our common pilot areas, but also in a broader field, as we all seek appropriate approaches to develop sustainable solutions for NEXUS systems.

We are building alliances and developing common ground for productive collaboration that can yield tangible results on the ground for water, food and energy security, in the face of climate change.
